Application Process
Stop guessing. Here is everything you need to know to maximize your chances. From the "Why" to the "How".
Is It For You?
Before we start, let's be brutally honest.
βWho Should Apply
- Creators. It's about being enterprising, not just studying.
- Deeply invested. People who commit fully on a personal level to the program and the people in it. Think about the people, not the courses.
- Honest about ambitions. Want to be rich? Fine. But be real about it, not performative.
βWho Should NOT Apply
- Status seekers. If you just want the logo for your LinkedIn.
- Comfort seekers. This program challenges you to think differently about everything.
- Passive learners. There are no textbooks here.
The Process
Two steps. For external candidates only (different process for HEC students).
Step 1: Application File
Submit your complete application dossier. Yes, they actually read your essays.
- β’Essays (be impactful, stand out)
- β’CV review
- β’Recommendation letters
Step 2: Interview
Format: 30-45 minutes with 3-5 jury members
(Used to be 3x15 min speed-dating style - now it's one longer session)
The principle remains: they want to understand who you really are.
Mastering the Application
What they actually look for in your file.
What They Want
Unique, humble people who want to become builders - not just of startups, but enterprising in life as a whole.
You're competing with top-level talent. Everyone is as good, if not better, than you academically.
The Essays
Be impactful. Show that you stand out beyond academics. This program attracts top-level talent - your GPA won't differentiate you.
Tell your real story, not what you think they want to hear.
Your CV
They don't care about prestigious experience or company names. They care about:
- β’Who you are when you're not working
- β’Do you help other people?
- β’Have you built things helpful for society?
Recommendations
I used my old boss and a business angel. Here's the truth:
They don't care WHO writes it. They care WHAT they say about you.
Why do you want this?
Not "why entrepreneurship". Why YOU?
What will you build?
Unicorn? Small biz? Impact?
Learnings?
Every experience shaped you.
The Interview
My specialty. Where most people fail.
I don't teach you to rehearse answers. I help you discover who you are. We dig into your entire story to find your authentic voice.
Common Mistakes
Being Generic
Not Knowing Your Why
Hiding Your Real Story
Expecting the Program to Make You
"You already have a compelling story. I help you see it and tell it."
My approach focuses on self-discovery, not performance.
Need a Pair of Eyes?
I review application files and give detailed, brutal-but-loving feedback. The cost? Sushi.
